My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come meet Goku! This sociable, friendly, purr machine with the rich black coat and stunning golden eyes is looking for a forever home where he can play, cuddle, snuggle, and get lots of lap time and love! He is great with all the other cats in his house and very comfortable around new people. He especially enjoys lounging on the screened in area where he can watch everyone coming and going and be ready for his next loving adventure. This handsome fellow surely has lots of offer to any home. He is good with everybody!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
