My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepe is a happy hound guy from central Virginia. He's about a year old and weighs about 50 lbs. He's very calm for a 1 yr old hound and might be older. Pepe is friendly and sweet, enjoys petting and attention, and loves to meet new people. He's not too hyper, and is a sensitive dog underneath his outgoing, goofy hound exterior. He's playful with other dogs, but too many dogs at once can be overstimulating. He also prefers quiet, undisturbed napping spots. Pepe has made some progress with training and will benefit from continued structure and obedience work - not everyone likes to be hugged in first meetings ! Pepe is housebroken and does well in his crate. Pepe would do best in a calm home, with adopters who have some hound experience, possibly one other dog to play with. Pepe is in the Boston area and ready for visits.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.

Our Adoption Process
