My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Loki: The Sweetheart with a Speckled Nose and a Heart of Gold

Looking for love in the form of a super squishy face, adorable freckles, and perfect Dorito ears? Look no further, because Loki is ready to find his forever home! From brown eyes full of love, a pink-speckled nose that’s just begging for kisses, and a sprinkling of freckles beneath his velvety white coat, Loki is a gentle soul who thrives on connection, routine, and plenty of cuddle time.

Affectionate and sensitive, Loki is happiest when he’s near his people - curled up beside you during work hours, following you from room to room, or quietly watching the world go by from a cozy dog bed. He’s a champion snuggler and an expert at using his dog siblings as chin rests. He’ll even let you know when it’s time for the next part of his day, whether that’s breakfast, a walk, or a quick romp outside.

This velvety sweetheart thrives on predictability and kindness. He’ll need a home that’s more chill than chaotic, where his routine-loving personality can shine and where his humans are home often enough to include him in the fun.

Loki does great with other calm and respectful dogs, especially those who enjoy a good sunbathe or a quiet game of chase. He likes to take his time meeting new doggie friends, but once he’s comfortable, he loves being part of a pack. Loki will absolutely bloom with a confident dog buddy who can show him the ropes and share the couch.

Loki loves being outside (as long as it’s not raining!) and will enjoy a secure yard for daily explorations and zoomies. His favorite things include sniffy strolls, destination walks, soft toys to de-fluff, and just being part of whatever you’re doing. He might even be up for a leisurely jog around the block!

Loki has IBD and takes daily medication to help his gut comfort. He will need to remain on a strict prescription food diet, but luckily, he loves his kibbles and will happily accept them as snacks and rewards!

Loki is estimated to have been born in October 2018 and weighs 65 lbs. Loki is loyal, loving, and full of charm. If you’re ready to give Loki the stability, love, and all the cuddles he could dream of, he’s more than ready to fill your life with warmth and tail wags! Apply for Loki today!

Loki’s adoption fee is $450. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.

More about this rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.
