The Fleetwood Mac litter of hound puppies and their momma came to us from a Va shelter with more dogs than adopters. They were very sick and one died before making it to us but we knew the show must go on and we must save the rest. They are now happy, healthy and full of themselves! And ready to sing the song of the coonhound!

They are 4-5 month old coonhounds who look to be a mix of redbone, black and tan and maybe black mouthed cur. They are all very playful, love people, are good with other dogs and are ready to be adopted!

Coonhounds make wonderful pets! Adopting them as puppies lets you teach them all the good things that puppies should know.

Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
