Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'M A LOVE BUG!
Would you like to meet me? Let me tell you all about myself. My foster mom will tell you I am very well behaved. I have energy for playing and can still be calm in the house. No accidents for me! I am very well housebroken. There are two dogs in my foster home. One doesn't enjoy playing so I just leave him alone. The other likes playing and has energy like me but when he is done, I just go lay down. I really enjoy car rides too! Sleeping in bed with foster mom is something I love to do and I lay very close to her. Chewing on nylabones and playing with balls are my favorite toys. My foster mom has been teaching me to walk well on a lead and other dogs going by don't even bother me. I am crate trained but I can be trusted to stay alone in the house and not mess with anything that doesn't belong to me. My foster mom says I am a smart girl because I am catching on quick at training. I am a lap dog so in case you are watching a movie, expect me to sit in your lap. I wait patiently for a treat (unlike my foster siblings, ha ha)!
Caramel is three years old and weighs 36 pounds. She is good with other dogs and children over 12 but prefers a cat free home.
Location: Foster home
The adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting Caramel, call the shelter to make an appointment or complete an adoption application on our website. helpingstrays.org

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
