My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

We call these three the triplets!  Meet Boey, Daria and Cricket.  These three are very special to all of us at the shelter because they came to us in such rough shape and it took a long time for them to recover but through the whole process they all were nothing but sweet and affectionate.  The 3 kittens were left in the entryway of the shelter one afternoon in late October.  No box, no crate, no note or donation just three little sick kittens that were also covered in the worst case of ringworm we had ever seen dumped on our entry rug!!!  Little Boey was the smallest of the 3 and he was practically hairless due to his condition.  We started treatment on them right away which included having sulfur baths and medications to help stop the ringworm and also to make them feel better.  They have long since recovered and have grown in to playful, sweet and affectionate kittens.  They are usually found playing all together with a toy, lounging on the catio in the sun or cuddled up with each other in a bed.  We know it will take a special cat loving home to accept all 3 of them together but these guys really love each other and it would be hard on them to be separated.  Not to mention they are so fun to watch play and snuggle, that what cat loving person wouldn't want to watch them continue to grow, thrive and live out their lives together.  So if you are interested in 3 adorable orange and white babies to bring happiness, joy and a lifetime of smiles into your life consider the triplets!  They are up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and altered.  We feel their birthdate was August of 2022.  As always our adoption fee for cats/kittens is free will to approved applicants.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
