Pipsqueak is a sassy independent lady. She had a rough start to life. She was left dirty and starved in a box, but with a little TLC she is healthy and happy now. She is small in stature, but has a big personality. She communicates with the cutest little squeaks. She is full of energy during the day but will cuddle up at night with her favorite humans.She is the house lifeguard and monitors her humans bathing very seriously. She gets along with all her kitty roomies and keeps a close eye on the dog. She would need to go where she has a kitty friend. She would love to be adopted with her foster buddies Ares and Apollo. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
