My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jimmy-Choo! This handsome ginger boy is 10-months-old and is ready to charm his way into your heart and home. With his friendly demeanor and chatty nature, Jimmy is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a playful and easygoing new cat friend. Jimmy is a playful guy, and while he enjoys a wide variety of toys, his tail seems to be his ultimate favorite. You'll often catch him engaged in an amusing game of tail-chasing. He loves human company, and thoroughly enjoys head scratches as he lounges nearby. However, belly scratches are not his cup of tea. While he might initially hide in his new surroundings, Jimmy's curiosity will soon get the best of him and he’ll be out exploring his new environment in no time. Although he's not a fan of extended cuddles, Jimmy is content with some gentle handling and he will even grace you with his presence on your lap from time to time. More often, you'll find him happily lounging on the couch, basking in the sun. Jimmy can give the occasional love bite, so because of this, it's recommended that he finds a home without young children, making him a great fit for families with older teens or adults. Jimmy loves other cats and he MUST have another friendly, playful cat in his new home. Dogs are unknown.

Jimmy came to us as a stray and as such, we don’t know much about his background. We do know that Jimmy has truly blossomed in his foster home, where his confidence has soared and he is now ready to find his forever home at last.

If you're seeking a companion who's a blend of sweet and chatty, playful and calm, curious and quiet, look no further than Jimmy-Choo.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
