Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winnie is a sweet little hound girl with so much to offer. She's calm, affectionate, good with other dogs, even good with cats (!), and likes to meet new people. She does well walking on a leash and is also fine in her crate. She will sometimes go into her crate for naps and rests if the door is open. Winnie prefers not to be on furniture, but will come to people and offer a paw when she wants to be petted. She is not destructive or aggressive. Things just haven't worked out well for Winnie since being found stray in Virginia. Her first foster there became ill and couldn't keep her. Next foster had her for several months until we took her into NECR. She came north and did well at her foster here in New Hampshire, living with another dog and a fenced yard. Her adopters now can't keep her and she's looking for a home again. Winnie is petite at about 40 lbs and is 5 - 6 years old. She'll do best with a fenced yard and another dog. Winnie will need some reinforcement with housebreaking behaviors and an adopter who can offer patience and commitment. Winnie is currently located southwest of Boston.
