There are many who we would consider to be excellent mothers, but you can't deny that Miyanda has a place near the top! Most would consider having children to be a blessing, and Miyanda is no exception. However, the situation that her and her litter went through was something that not a single person would wish on their greatest enemy. For six months, Miyanda and her children were living in cages with no where to go. They all huddled together, too afraid to leave each other's side, and only feared humans. Who can blame them? If a human threw you in a cage for half a year, you'd have issues with trust too!
Thankfully, they were all rescued.. . The time adjusting to the space and new foster was a challenge for Miyanda. Her shyness of humans and fearful behavior towards new things was immense and is still a work in progress. The only time she wouldn't hide would be for food or to use her litter box.
As time progressed, however, Miyanda has began to slowly regain trust in humans! She's still timid, but she quickly found out how wonderful rubs were! Whenever she has an itch for affection, she'll make sure to get the human's attention! This is usually by rubbing herself up against something back and forth! When she was rescued, the rescuer had dogs that Miyanda didn't seem to mind! In fact, she seemed to love them! Her favorite place is her bed, which she will lay in like a hammock!
Miyanda was born in February 2021 and is currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland. Miyanda’s adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
