Beautiful Misozi has undergone quite the transformation in her short life. She lived her entire kittenhood in a cage before coming to LCCR. She and her family members were quite overwhelmed when they came to a foster home and didn't understand how to cope with SPACE! She has since moved to a different foster home where she learned to become comfortable with freedom on a much smaller scale, and she has completely blossomed! While she is perfectly content to snuggle on a cat tree by the radiator, she also loves snuggling next to a human who will pet her and listen to her loud purrs. In fact, once you start petting her it will be hard to get her to stop wanting more. She likes laying on the bed with you. But she also adores when you break out her one wire toy, and that will get her heart rate and her feet racing. Her antics engage the other kitties in the foster room who are shy and learning How to Cat.
Misozi would do great in a house with another nice cat who plays gently. She is coexisting with her brother (who still is very shy, but loves to purr when petted) and another peaceful kitty, and that is all good. She likes to butt heads with them and eat next to them. She likely would be a little overwhelmed with more assertive kitties or with loud children. Probably a quiet home is best for her, so her personality could continue to grow. Likewise, she probably would be ok with a calm dog, once proper introductions are done. She also would be okay as an only kitty, as long as she was receiving love from her humans. Love makes the world go round!
Misozi was born in August 2022 and is currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland. Misozi’s adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative), microchip, and spay.
