Mack can be a little shy when meeting new people but once he opens up he is this biggest sweetheart! He is super playful, full of energy and loves going on walks. He is very strong on a leash so he would need to go to a home that could him. Mack does great with kids and, but gets nervous around new dogs, so a meet and greet is necessary with other dogs in the home. Mack has shown barrier reactivity here at the shelter, so we do not know if that would continue in a home environment.
Mack can be seen at our main ranch or email dogswmr@gmail.com for more information.

More about this shelter
Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
