My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a handsome, 9 year old tabby guy with a white bib on his chest. He has stunning green eyes! He's a southern gentleman from Tennessee who came to Maine to find his furrever home. He quickly became comfortable being in the shelter and with his roommates. He is a great cat and LOVES to get attention from our volunteers and staff. He is a playful guy. Buddy's ideal home would be one where he could be on his own or with perhaps one other calm kitty, and probably with children 12 and older.

He takes a medication to help him with his allergies and is on a special diet of duck. Buddy had some stress coming into our shelter so we placed him on a low dose of gabapentin to help him relax. He has blossomed, is super friendly, will greet you when you enter his room, and loves to sit on your lap! We ask that his adopters have an established relationship with a veterinarian to help him manage these issues.

Buddy is a joy and this handsome fellow is ready and eager to go home!
