My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Atlas - Labrador - Male - 8.5 yrs - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Atlas: this gorgeous adult yellow Lab came to us due to his family divorcing. Atlas is your typical Lab who has never met a stranger he didn't like, or a treat he didn't want eat or a ball unsuitable for fetching. He LOVES to swim as much as he loves to fetch balls. He walks well on leash - he is a pretty strong guy and it not shy about dragging whomever has the other end of the leash to wherever he needs to sniff, but he is very food and ball motivated, so teaching this slightly older gentleman a new trick of proper leash walking should not be too difficult.

Atlas is looking for a family with or without another companion dog, someone who is home a lot and will walk him, play ball with him and a pool for him to swim in. His current foster family loves him very much, but realizes that he loves to swim and a pool would be excellent exercise for him as he's getting older. He does require a sturdy tall fence to contain him.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
