TOMMY

Are you looking for a cuddle bug? Well Tommy is your boy! He not only loves people, he loves people hard!

He is a beautiful White German Shepherd with the sweetest temperament. He gets along with dogs, but prefers dogs that are medium to large in size. He has a typical GS personality. He is loyal, wants to please his humans and loves to cuddle.

If you’re looking for a boy that will be by your side, Tommy is the boy for you. He is energetic and strong, but calms down once he gets his 3 year old German Shepherd energy out. Tommy loves his toys, but loves bones even more!

He is good on leash, has excellent recall and is easily corrected. He is housebroken, crate trained and rides well in the car. He loves to play with dog friends, but would be fine as a solo dog with active humans. He is very good with kids and he doesn’t mind cats!

He’s a perfect boy who just wants to be loved.

We require an application. References are checked and a home visit is performed. Placement Director contacts the applicant and discusses the dogs in our program. There will be two meetings between the potential adoptive family and the dog before final transfer. We require a $400.00 adoption fee for Adult Dogs and a $450.00 adoption fee for puppies. This fee covers vaccines, labwork, microchip, and spay/neuter.

Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)3 organization based in Texas. At this time we service Texas and Louisiana. Our passion and our mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, and abused German Shepherd and Large Paw Dogs with the goal of finding them a new permanent and loving home. All dogs receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, positive training and necessary behavior modification before they are ready to adopt. These dogs come from stressful circumstances and are give a few weeks to de-compress before being offered for adoption.
