My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHLOE is a darling little, approximately, 4 month old shepherd mix. She weighs in at about 30 lbs.
Chloe is a joyful, happy little girl!
She is an easy going puppy with all the usual puppy curiosity, playfulness and silliness. She is an entertainer and just being around her makes you smile!
Chloe is very affectionate! She loves to sit in her friends lap and snuggle with her foster mom in bed at night.
Chloe is not a hyper puppy. She plays and entertains herself well and she loves to just hang out or have snuggle time.

Chloe is friendly with other dogs and possibly cats. We are exploring that.
Chloe knows sit so far and is beginning to learn recall. She will need puppy training and she is very treat motivated and loves to learn. Chloe loves balls and her favorite game is fetch. She has aaaalmost learned to bring the ball back and drop it until she get’s distracted…LOL!
Chloe is 98% potty trained.

Chloe is a gentle puppy, not too mouthy. She would do fine with children. Chloe would love to find a family with a yard and people who will play with her, socialize her and train her to be the very best girl she can be.
She is a beautiful, loving little soul who is already a very good girl!

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer, 501c3 non profit animal rescue group working to save animals from high kill Southern California shelters such as the Camarillo shelter. We give abandoned animals a safe permanent home through networking, adoption events and transporting animals to reputable 501c3 rescues. We have a strong focus on the most at risk for death row breeds; pit bulls and chihuahas. We advocate for animal welfare, affordable spay and neuter programs and ending backyard breeding. Through community education we hope to restore the positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier as the loving family dog it truly is. We depend completely on charitable donations to support our work. Donations are needed to cover pull fees to get animals out of the shelter, temporary boarding fees, transport and vet costs. We support the NO KILL platform and dream of the day when all shelters will be NO KILL.
