My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introduction

Hello there, future forever family! My name is Liza, and I'm eagerly waiting to find a place I can call home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself – I'm a mixed breed with a heart full of love and a touch of shyness.

Personality

Meeting new people is one of my favorite things in the world! I might be a bit shy at first, but trust me, it won't take long for my warm and affectionate side to shine through. Once I feel comfortable, I'll be your most loyal and loving companion, following you around and cuddling up for some quality bonding time.

Relationship with Other Pets

Now, about my feelings towards other furry friends – I must admit, I'm not the most confident pup around dogs. They make me a bit nervous, you see. So, I'm hoping to find a home with a calm and low-key doggie sibling who understands my need for space. If being the only fur baby is in the cards, that's perfectly fine too! I just want to feel safe and secure.

Ideal Home

I dream of a quiet and patient home where my new family will understand that it might take me a little time to fully open up. If you're the kind of person who will give me the space and time I need to blossom, I promise to shower you with all the love and joy I have to offer.

‍‍‍ Family Fit ‍‍‍

I get along brilliantly with people of all ages! Whether you have children, adults, or a mix of both in your household, I'm confident we'll become fast friends. Just remember, a little patience goes a long way with me.

Activity Level

I'm not the most energetic pup, but I still enjoy a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or some playtime in a cozy backyard. If you're looking for a furry friend to join you on peaceful adventures, I'm your girl!

Conclusion

So, dear potential adopter, if you're someone who understands that good things come to those who wait, I believe we could be the perfect match. With your patience and love, I'll show you just how amazing life with a slightly shy but quick-to-warm pup like me can be. If you're ready to open your heart to a loving companion, please consider making me a part of your family. Let's create wonderful memories together!

If you're interested in adopting me, please contact www.pipsrescue.org. I can't wait to meet you and start this beautiful journey together.

More about this rescue

PIPs key focus is dogs with special or medical needs (who we call Pip-abled), however, we have many non-PIP-abled dogs too! We made it easy to decipher PIP-abled verses non-PIP-able; simply look at each dogs picture and bio.

The Pioneers had a vision to take in the most urgent rescues no one else could which includes puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, dogs with special needs and medical cases in and around North Carolina. Our main purpose is to rescue as many dogs in need as we can with a special focus on special needs.
