While she hasn't been around smaller children yet, her high energy level and strength make her a great companion for older and larger kids & adults. She's shown to be more comfortable around male dogs than females, however she did successfully share a kennel space with Winnie, proving her ability to get along. We believe Rosie would thrive best as the only pet in the household or alongside a compatible male dog, following a successful meet and greet. 🐶

All dogs are in care of the city ACO & dedicated volunteers. Although we are a kill shelter, we are very proud to say we have not had to euthanize since 2012! We hope to keep that streak alive as we find new homes for all of our wonderful residents.
