My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOR ADOPTION
🐾 Meet Winnie, our playful girl who's on the hunt for a forever home!

Winnie is an avid fan of walks and walks well on a leash. Her leash etiquette is on point, and she's an absolute delight to take out for strolls. She's not a "jumper" and has even made friends with an 11-year-old volunteer, proving she can bond with kids!

This approximately 2-year-old gal weighs around 50lbs and has already been spayed. Her favorite pastime includes chewing on beef knee caps and savoring peanut butter on her dog biscuit.

While she has an ‘alpha’ side to her personality, she's also a bundle of fun and love. We believe Miss Winnie would thrive best as an only dog of the household.

Let's work together to find Winnie the loving home she truly deserves. Please SHARE this post far and wide, and if you think Winnie could be your dream companion, why not pay her a visit for a walk and some quality time? 🐶❤️

More about this shelter

All dogs are in care of the city ACO & dedicated volunteers. Although we are a kill shelter, we are very proud to say we have not had to euthanize since 2012! We hope to keep that streak alive as we find new homes for all of our wonderful residents.
