Gina came to the Goathouse as a young momma cat with two precious little ones, and at first she was not especially fond of people, in part because she felt the need to be very protective of her babies. With time, Gina began to realize that the Goathouse staff and volunteers were there to help care for them all, making sure they were fed and safe, and in recent months she has really started to blossom. She’s still a touch shy but loves treats and will allow some gentle pets if you are willing to sit quietly and allow her to approach you on her own terms. She gets along quite well with fellow shy kitties Queso and Dahlia and would be quite content in a home with another calm, easy-going feline friend.
