Maple was very pregnant when she came to us from a shelter in rural Va. She had her puppies right after arriving and has been an excellent mother. Now we are hoping that someone will give Maple a home where she will be pampered and treated like a queen. Maple is good with kids and other dogs and house trained.

We want to remind everyone during this nationwide, overpopulation crisis that pet ownership is a LIFE LONG COMMITMENT! Please refrain from adoping unless you are confident can provide vet care, stable housing, and lots of attention and love for many, many years to come. Adoption is furEVER!

Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
