My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is the most perfect little girl, and we are so confused how she has not been adopted yet! (She has been with our rescue for just over 1 month).

At around 3 or 4 years old and 16 lbs, Gracie is the "best dog ever", according to her foster mom. She's fun and active, but at the same time she is a well-intentioned girl who wants to give the best of herself.
She is believed to be a Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix.

Gracie is great with people, other dogs, and has become best friends with her fosters two puppies. She has wonderful house manners, and is fully potty trained.

Gracie's foster mom had the following to say about this special girl:
"Gracie is sooo sweet! I know from what Farfel's has told me that she was in a home her whole life, and you can tell that she has had a home before. She is much easier than your typical foster that is new to living in a home! She is so friendly and also potty trained.
She has an adorable underbite and stands on her hind legs when excited. It's adorable! She is good with my dogs too."

Gracie was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after being with her family since she was a puppy. The reason they gave was that buying her dog food and keeping her up to date on vaccines was too expensive, and they "just don't have the time for her anyway".
We have no words for this harsh, cruel act.

We'd like Gracie to find her forever home with either dog-crazy retirees who desire a fuzzy best friend in their lives or a younger family that works from a home-based office. Gracie would be overjoyed with time-spent and accompanying her family everywhere a super-smart, engaging and well-behaved little dog is welcome.

Gracie has been vaccinated, vetted and spayed to be in line with our commitment to adopting out healthy dogs that won't contribute to the canine overpopulation challenge.

Gracie is currently with a foster in Boulder. If interested in this very cuddly, super-sweet and loving best friend, please fill out our application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Gracie please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com.
