My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Check out Renly, the shelter studmuffin with an independent streak and a heart of gold! Despite his cool and self-assured demeanor, this feline charmer is as sweet as they come. A handsome survivor, he carries himself with a hint of mischief and a lot of confidence. His unique sitting style, caused by a shattered knee from his youth, only adds to his charm. He proudly shows off his battle scars, knowing that it only makes him more irresistible to the ladies. Although he may not demand constant attention, this handsome kitty will always be there for a gentle head bump whenever you need him. He understands the value of personal space and knows how to strike the perfect balance between being social and enjoying some peaceful alone time.

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
