Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you need a super happy, super energetic, never a dull moment companion?
Then Sutton is the main squeeze you have been looking for. Sutton is 1 year old, weighs 40 pounds, and became a Misfit after ending up at a local shelter. He is also a parvo survivor, and he truly believes this makes him something special! He is neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!
Sutton is all things dog! He loves running and romping with his foster siblings. Tackling his brother from another mother is his favorite past time. He will tell you about how great life is and let you know if you aren’t getting his food fast enough. He thrives on positive reinforcement! He loves to play fetch, but not because he likes bringing the ball back to you – more so because he needs to hear that he’s a good boy.
Sutton lives with foster siblings of all sizes and ages and loves everyone. He honestly just wants to be wherever the party is happening! Sutton also lives with cats and has shown no interest in them.
Sutton is great with potty training and kennel training. Because Sutton loves life so much he can be a bit rambunctious and would do best in a home with older children. He may knock down or nip little ones a bit too much until he masters the course of “acceptable puppy behavior”….but his smile will melt your heart and his love of life with restore your faith in humanity.
Sutton LOVES going on walks. He tends to lose focus on the walk and gets distracted, but hey, the world is his oyster and there's a lot he's gotta see. Sutton didn’t have the easiest start to life and we just hope he can find a family that appreciates his spirit as much as we do and shows him love for the rest of his ENTIRE life!
