Here's what the humans have to say about me:
People talk about old souls, there are legends about wisemen and songs about being a simple man; it seems this boy took it all to his heart of gold.
Stewart is a gentle giant who is always observing with a collected calmness. His face is full of character, a stunning and adorable teddy dog. Stew loves playing with the ball and engages in co-play by turning around to see if you will chase after him. He also really enjoys a daily dip in the doggie pool, where he splashes around clamming. And if you flop down on the ground Stewie will slowly back up and plop down too, in your lap. He doesn’t mind a nice back scratch while he’s there.
Stewart is easy to walk with his ear curls flapping in the wind, he loves a good brain challenging sniff fest and is happy trotting along side you.
Stewie has affection to give and he loves lots of it in return. It’s time for him to be brought home and to be part of a warm, loving and loyal family.
Stew is strongly trained to go out to the bathroom and is not exhibiting chewing behaviors. He is familiarized with the basics and responds to praise & affection. Found roaming alone, there is not a lot of history, the microchip isn’t registered. He is not reactive on a leash and indicates he likes most other dogs. Would need to be cat and child tested but doesn’t raise flags that would indicate anything but a positive outcome.
Please apply at POAInc.org to become Stewart’s forever and you may email his adoption counselor Marney.B@POAInc.org.
