Meet Smuckers ! Smuckers is just like the jelly; sweet, good and rewarding. Looking for a family dog, companion or a dog to hike with you. Smuckers is 1 1/2 year old shepherd mix. House trained, good with any size dog and mellow. If you’re ready to add to your your family don’t wait too long. This sweet boy will be scooped up. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
