Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ralphy / Male / Mixed Breed / 1 yr 7 mo / 26 kg / Rescued from Hamilton / Fostered in London
Good with older children / House-crated / Potty crated
If you love adventures and cuddles - you gotta meet Ralphy 🐾
People often comment on Ralphy's striking handsomeness. His regal appearance often turns heads, and his friendly demeanour quickly puts people at ease. Some might initially be a bit cautious, but it doesn't take long for them to see his heart of gold. Ralphy is a good boy, and it shows!
A true outdoors enthusiast, Ralphy absolutely adores running, tug of war, and chewing on bones and toys. He's a natural athlete so if you're up for a game of fetch, he's your MVP. He's also a great travel companion. Picture him in the back seat, head out the window, with an occasional face lick to show his appreciation. After a day of adventure, he'll melt into your arms, relishing every moment of snuggle time.
Let’s talk quirks, Ralphy sometimes gets a bit excited when he sees human friends and may jump or get a little mouthy. But this behaviour comes from a place of sheer happiness and affection. When he's feeling upset or starved for attention, he might nibble on sneakers and socks. It's his way of saying, "Hey, pay attention to me!"
He could use some training in dog manners and introductions. His eagerness to bounce and play wrestle when he first meets a potential friend hasn’t worked well for him. Cats and other animals aren't in Ralphy's comfort zone, so a pet-free home or a fellow pro-wrestling dog sibling would be best for him.
Ralphy would be living his dream in a fenced yard, where he can run and explore to his heart's content.
An active and outdoorsy person or couple with some training and dog experience would be a match made in heaven for Ralphy. If you work from home or have a flexible schedule, that's even better because Ralphy truly doesn't like being alone for too long. He wants to be where the action is.
If you're ready to welcome a big-hearted, high-energy, and endlessly loving friend into your life, Ralphy is waiting for you with open paws. Adopt him at: https://caninehaven.org/dog-application/
