My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Brynn is getting depressed from being in the shelter for well over 200 days. She spends most of her day curled up and gazing sadly out of her kennel door, hoping that her forever family is on the way. She does still chat animatedly with staff and volunteers once she's out though! She loves to snuggle but also has an independent personality where she is content to do her own thing. In the summer, she enjoys our play yard pool and splashing around after lounging in the sun. Brynn is dog selective but has previously lived with another dog. Since Brynn has allergies and will need ongoing care, the BUB Fund has graciously offered a $1,000 grant to her future adopter to help with ongoing medical costs! Thank you Lil Bub!

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
