Trigger is a 2-year-old smart, energetic, and affectionate boy who’s ready to show off just how amazing he is! This fun-loving pup has recently graduated training and has done phenomenally—his progress has been nothing short of impressive.
🎓 Training Rockstar
Trigger walks beautifully on leash and has mastered excellent leash manners, calmly ignoring other dogs, kids, and passing cars. He confidently holds downs and stays even with distractions, and he’s been crushing it on field trips to stores, practicing his skills in real-world settings. He’s learned how to be neutral around other dogs and continues to show just how smart and capable he is. This boy loves to learn and truly shines when given a job to do!

Active Adventures: Long walks, car rides, and playing fetch (he’ll even toss his own toys to keep the fun going!)
Playtime: He enjoys strong, playful interactions and does best with someone who can match his energy.
Cuddle Time: After a busy day, Trigger is all about snuggling up and soaking in quality time with his people.

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
