My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you have room for a quiet senior cat...then come and meet Blake.   She is just under 8 years old and is a brown and white with specks of orange female tabby cat.  Blake was the only cat from this hoarding situation that was living outside 24/7 :(  She unfortunately had an old hematoma that healed in her right ear, which is why her ear is permanently folded under :)  Blake is a VERY quiet kitty. She spends her days sleeping and lounging around just coming out to get food or use the litter box. Blake loves to stick her tongue out while we are taking pictures of her :)  She is looking for an owner who will just let her continue to live a stress free indoor only life after years of living outside. While she doesn't initiate pets, she will accept pets and even lean into them as long as you go slow.  She has grown to love chin scratches. She is currently sharing space with other cats and often is found laying around with other cats.  As long as they don't bother her "beauty sleep" she doesn't mind sharing her bed.

Blake did test positive for FIV but everyone that follows us knows that is no big deal. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives and can live with non-FIV cats as long the cats get along. We are happy to answer questions about FIV. Her adoption fee has been reduced so we can help find her forever home.

Blake is spayed, received age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, and is microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
