My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Kirk!

This Star Trek kitty came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services with his two other littermates (Uhura and Una who have both been adopted!). Kirk is now the last of his litter still seeking his purrfect forever home!

Kirk is a charming kitten who absolutely loves receiving attention and will smother you in headbutts and leg-hugs just to get it! His fosters say he does great with dogs and people, although he can be a bit shy in new environments he is quick to warm up!

Kirk would love to find a home with another confident cat to show him the ropes and would do fine in a home with a cat-savvy pup but needs to be introduced to other animals in the home slowly over time. His preferred home would be with adult adopters or with families with children over the age of six. Adopters who are able to be home during the day to smother him in all the loving would be best!

Kirk is currently in a loving foster home. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received and approved.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
