My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pepper! This adorable kitten came to us with his siblings after they were found as a young stray litter outdoors. Pepper is a clown. He will literally chase anything - kibble, his shadow, his tail. Pepper is ALWAYS in the mood to play. He's quite chatty and loves to be held and will chase your slippers while you are still wearing them. He's super soft, and his tuxedo markings and white mittens make him look like such a little gentleman.

He would love a home with another friendly cat to play with! Since he is still a kitten, we are looking for a home where someone is around throughout the day to help with socialization and training. He will also need a home with gentle kiddos age 6 and over who can be patient with a new kitty in the home. Pepper will need to be slowly introduced to any dogs in the home as he doesn't have any experience with them yet.

Pepper is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received, and approved. Please complete an onlline application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
