My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet super cute bonded mom and son Bitsy and Bobo. Bitsy (aka Momma) is a white 2-year-old, 12 lb. Chorkie (Chihuahua/terrier). Bobo is a brown 1-year-old, 6 lb Chorkie (Chihuahua/terrier). This mother/son duo love each other so much! They sit on the couch together, sleep together, and are always together. They love to play in the backyard. While they tend to keep to themselves, Bitsy does love to play with another foster dog; Bobo is still learning how to play and can be overprotective of his bed with dogs other than his momma. Potty skills are progressing. Both are still learning how to trust humans; they will take a treat from your hand once they trust you. Bitsy does seem to prefer women. Both dogs are fully vetted, including dental and spay and need to be adopted together.

Bitsy's adoption fee is $200 and Bobo's adoption fee is $200. BOBO AND BITSY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
