Hey there, I’m Benny! I am Mr. Perfect Pal and Personality Plus!

I am very YOU oriented and want to be where you are. I enjoy a lot of attention and in a variety of ways. I LOVE to sit beside or in front of you for petting. I have incredibly soft fur and full-length petting from neck to tip of tail is dreamy. I may come onto your lap myself, and I’m OK with being picked up as needed and for short smooching time, but I’m a BIG boy, so it’s not comfortable for me to be held onto for long as it squeezes me.

My coat is actually low maintenance…no matting and not a lot of shedding, although all cats should be brushed at least periodically as that means less fur on your furniture and clothing. And seemingly no coughing up hairballs. I weigh 14 lbs, and am working on getting that to 13.

I use a scratching post, and am well behaved for having my claws trimmed. My fave toy is a wand with ribbons dangling from it. I will chase and jump at it endlessly!

In my previous home, I started out as the childrens’ pal, especially one little girl. But the kids grew to an age where they were going to friends’ homes and having friends over, and I didn’t get the attention and love I needed. So I’m looking for a home and pet parent who will not change and grow away from me. I need to be a high priority and have a close relationship with my parent/family FOREVER.
