My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear was found on the streets downtown. He was sad, tired, and was very submissive to any of the people or animals around him. He was able to easily be caught with some yummy treats and friendly faces. It's been a few weeks now that Bear has been in a home and is doing wonderful. He has been fully vetted and in great health. His neuter is on 10/4 and will be ready to go to his forever home right away.

Bear extremely dog and people friendly. He also is ok with cats but is very curious with them and would prefer they try and play like a dog. Bear loves to give hugs, snuggle on the couch and loves loves loves treats and food. He is very trainable and will do well in an active home. He is experiencing some separation anxiety when left in his crate without a human around. He does well in the crate if a person is near so this will be an area that he will need to build confidence in. He is being left alone for 4-5 hrs in his crate with music and calming treats and enrichment toys and will sleep through the night in the crate as long as its in the same room as where his person is sleeping.

The Chihuahua Rescue is posting this a courtesy for the regular foster who is now taking care of him. We'd like to get this sweet boy in his forever home soon. Please reach out with questions or if you'd like to meet Bear.
