Dr. Loomis is a board-certified doctor of cuddles and snuggles! He has such a handsome fluffy coat, and he even has little fluffs of hair floofing from his ears. Yep, this handsome boy is so cute it's even coming out of his ears!
Dr. Loomis is such a lovable kitty! He will sleep on your chest and would love to be petted and snuggled all day if he could. For an older gentleman he still enjoys crinkle and small toys he can paw around. And random kitty zoomies are a must! But, naps do take precedence. Dr. Loomis prefers to be in the same room and will follow you around. At sleep time he will follow you straight to the bed and will get as close as possible to cuddle up. Such a snuggle bug!
Dr. Loomis has gotten along well with the dogs in his foster home. They even sometimes share a doggy bed! Dr. Loomis has also made friends with children and as soon as he gets to know them he's requesting pets and snuggles from them as well.
Final diagnosis: Love Bug! Contact us today for an appointment with Dr. Loomis and get your treatment of love started!
Dr. Loomis has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care. He also has chronic rhinitis (nasal irritation) which causes him to be sniffly and sometimes sneezy. It doesn't seem to bring him down, and frankly, kitty sneezes are pretty darn funny.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
