My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calm, Sweet, Talkative

Bjork may not have any hit songs like her Icelandic singer namesake, but she does have quite the meow - especially when it's mealtime! Bjork is a sweet, easygoing girl who's also a self-proclaimed foodie. She loves a good can of wet food and will start meowing as soon as you pop that can top!

Food isn't the only thing Bjork gets excited about though. She also loves her people and will meow at you when you come home (or if you meow at her first). She likes to be wherever you are and will frequently rub up against your legs. Bjork is snuggly - but on her own terms. She'll seek you out to snuggle with you in bed, but she can get overstimulated when you're petting her and might give you affectionate bites when she's done feeling snuggly.

Bjork is still adjusting to her new environment, so she sometimes hangs out in secluded spaces like under the bed or in a box with a blanket at the bottom (so adorable!), but she already has a cute little daily routine! Bjork will begin by rubbing against some furniture, then sit on the bed for a while, then go snack on some food, and finally sleep on her foster's chest at night, purring away.

Bjork likes to get her energy out by playing with mice toys, chewing at feathery tassels, and making lots of biscuits! She gets super playful on catnip, so watch your fingers once that 'nip hits!

Bjork can definitely use a little more playtime in her life since she's slightly overweight (it's tough being a foodie!), but she doesn't require tons of attention from her people. She would be happy living in a quieter household where she can nap during the day and have some nice spots to relax. Bjork has shared a space with other cats before, so she would be fine living with another kitty.

If Bjork's awesome personality hasn't already sold you, you have to meet her just to witness her adorable looks! She has the cutest tabby swirl coat with three white socks (yep, just three - one of her front paws is tabby). This cute lady can't wait to meet you and show off her cute paws and personality!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
