Dairy Sue gets her name from her resemblance to a cow, with her adorable markings! This gorgeous Treeing Walker Coonhound came into the shelter when her home was unable to care for her anymore. Dairy Sue is 1.5 years old and has lived with kids in her previous home, so would likely be fine entering a home with kids who are dog savvy! We have done a quick intro with kitties and she definitely knows what a cat is! When one of the feline friends swatted at her, she backed off, so definitely knows what a kitty is! We think that she will be fine with a feline, given time to settle. We are fine with trying more cat testing if anyone is interested in adopting that has a cat at home! Dairy Sue will need a strong owner, as she does have a tendency to pull while being walked! Dairy Sue does love to play, especially with tennis balls and a good game of tug of war! We are pretty sure that Dairy Sue is housebroken, as she is very clean in her kennel here! Do you have a spot in your heart for this lovely hound girl?! If so, come visit her Wed-Sat 12-4!
