AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - LOTTIE MAE
BREED - Chihuahua
SIZE - About 8 pounds
AGE - around 10 years
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Lottie Mae is a super sweet little dog that was recently came to us when her owner passed away. Not only is she adorable, but she is a lovely little gal who would make a great companion to mature owner. Lottie is fine with other well behaved small dogs (and is not cat tested) and she loves humans and cuddling, though she can be shy at first. She appears to be in great health, is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Fully grown at just 8 pounds, she is a perfect size for cuddling! We are seeking a home with an adopter able to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with this sweet girl. A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard is a must. Lottie Mae is not well suited to small children.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
