My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It’s the Queen’s world and we’re just living in it
Sookie is here to let everyone know that’s she’s not going anywhere, anytime soon! She has had every senior test done under the sun, some more than once, and has continued to prove that she’s one tough bitty! She has tackled her kidney disease and high blood pressure like the baddie she is, and both have been impressively regulated for some time now. She’s on new meds to manage the arthritis in her back and legs that leave her with an adorably hoppy and pain free gait. All of Sookie’s ailments could have been, and should have been, preventable but she was in a “home” that simply failed to care for her in just about every way. Malnourished and medically neglected, she was a walking skeleton and hidden at the back of the shelter where she likely would have lived out her remaining days before being euthanized. Sookie has continued to overcome everything that’s been thrown her way and though she’s thankful for the amazing foster homes she’s been able to bounce between, she is more than ready to find her forever throne
Sookie has an army of foster moms that are constantly advocating for her - telling anyone that will listen just how incredible this queen truly is. She is roughly 13 years young, cat friendly, house trained, dances for her meals, and can be perfectly described as a “hungry houseplant that likes to snuggle” She has so many people rooting for her that her lucky adopter is being gifted a large portion of her prescription diet food and her medications will be sponsored for awhile to ensure that the queen is set for quite some time
Sookie was left at a shelter to die and eight months later, we are still begging for someone to see the royalty that we see and finally give her the home she deserves and missed out on for the first 12 years of her life
To learn more about how wonderful and EASY Sookie is, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We have the answers to all your questions and more than enough praises to sing! We promise you’ll be sold on Queen Sookie in no time, she has everyone she meets falling at her feet
