My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Little Edie. I am a beautiful girl who was born June 12, 2022. I have a best friend. Do you have a best friend? My best friend is my mom and they call her Big Edie. She's a gorgeous dilute tortie kitty, while I have soft gray and white fur. I want to find a home with my mom. We do everything together. We play. We nap. We cuddle. We chase and wrestle. We keep each other company when the humans are busy. We both love to play with toys. We both use a litterbox like good girls. A bit about me ... my foster mom says that I have "the best mischievous pixie facial expressions." That's on brand because I am very confident and curious. I give kibbles sometimes. Do you know what those are? It's a combination of kisses and nibbles. When I want you to pet me and give me attention, I will gently nibble your fingers. I love snuggles and cuddle sessions, especially in the mornings. I get along with everyone. If it has four paws and fur, we are friends. I love the big dog in my foster care home. And, I get along fabulously with adult cats and kittens, too. Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
