Hello everyone! My name is Big Edie. I am a gorgeous girl who was born June 20, 2021. I have a best friend. Do you have a best friend? My best friend is my daughter and they call her Little Edie. She's a beautiful, soft gray and white kitty, while I am a shorthaired dilute tortie kitty. I want to find a home with my kiddo. We do everything together. We play. We nap. We cuddle. We chase and wrestle. We keep each other company when the humans are busy. We both love to play with toys. We both use a litterbox like good girls. We balance each other out well. Whereas Little Edie is energetic, I am incredibly gentle, a total sweetheart. I am more inclined to lap surf, landing in the comfiest lap in the room. I am very petite with sparkling yellow-green eyes. I get along well with other cats and I am comfortable with the big dog in our foster care home, although I will occasionally give her a nose boop to say “back off." NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
