My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Autos are an adorable litter of domestic shorthair kittens who came to the Mission after being trapped at a local property. They have an estimated birthdate of 05/27/2023.

The members of The Autos (Aston, Ranger) have been working hard to accept human touch, and they have come a long way. Ranger seeks out attention and pets on a regular basis. Ranger enjoys getting loves and will follow his foster mom around for extra pets.  He can get startled by sudden movements, so would probably do best in a quieter home with no small children. He will need an adopter who can be patient with him as he gets comfortable with the new smells and sounds of the home and people. He is good with a quiet dog, large or small

Each automotive comes spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. The adoption fee for a single or a pair is $50 and includes a sample of the food they've been eating and their medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Thank you for checking out The Autos!

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
