That’s how I got my name—and trust me, I live up to it!

I’m a medium-sized male Black Labrador Retriever mix with a fun-loving personality and energy to spare. I’m always ready to jump into action, whether it’s playtime in the yard, a long walk, or an adventure with my favorite people.

In my previous home, I had dog friends that I got along with really well, so I’d love to have a playful canine buddy again! I enjoy being part of the action and having friends to run and romp with.

I have lots of energy and will need an active lifestyle to grow into a healthy, happy, well-balanced dog. Daily exercise, playtime, and fun activities will help me be my very best self. Got kids? Great! Let’s keep each other busy and make some awesome memories together.

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Pay Fee

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.

So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
