I am a great boy, a busy boy and I would LOVE a busy family too!!
I came to the rescue ALMOST three YEARS AGO! And all my family has already been adopted but I am still waiting............................................
And I am not sure WHY, except I am a smart and busy boy. I am good with other dogs, I need to have slow introductions and strong leader or I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU.
I am good with cats too!!
Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that!
I want a really nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim with me too! I have a heart of gold and am ready to shine it right on your family, ADOPT ME!!!

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
