My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!ADOPTION FEE WAIVED!!!

Cody is a sweet, cuddly, and affectionate boy who is almost 10 whole years old! He has been in our system since January of 2024. He is a big guy weighing in at darn near 100 lbs of love! He came in when his owner unfortunately passed. I'm sure this poor guy was absolutely heart broken, but he still greets all new human friends with an open heart hoping that you'll love him as much as his old owner.

Thankfully, this old man is residing in a comfortable foster home but I'm sure they'd be elated to get more applications in for him as it's high time he gets his happily every after!

He is very god on leash according to his foster, and also absolutely loves to cuddle and be in your lap! He does know his basic commands and would love to show them to you!

He has done pretty well meeting other dogs, but may prefer to be the only pup in the home unless its another older or calm and gentle pup!

He does have very good house manners, and gives super sweet kisses AND is so sweet taking treats you basically have to put it in his mouth for him!
If yoou have a soft spot ir seniors, he's your guy.

Please go to icarestl.org and fill out an adoption application for him! We will accept your application and send it on over to the fosters!
