My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

❤️Amity ❤️
Like his name, Amity is all about love and has endless snuggles and cuddles to share with his favorite humans. Amity is a very chill, distinguished gentleman who has been in the shelter system for 3 years! He knows his forever home is out there and is hoping they find him soon. Because he has been in foster for so the last two years, there is a TON of great info we know about him.

Amity is a very easy going pup who looks forward to his daily 😴. When he’s not in couch potato mode, Amity enjoys car rides, sunny patches on the floor or in the yard, swimming, easy paced walks, treats, and snuggling on the couch. Amity is also perfectly potty trained and non destructive when left out the crate, making an excellent housemate when his humans are at work. This sweet boy is so sweet, he literally wants to hold your hand🥹. And so eager to please that he is great at baths and loves his training sessions.

Amity loves hard and can be protective of his humans and would do best in a low traffic home when new guests aren’t constantly in and out of the home. He is fine walking past people as long as he has space✅. Adopting Amity would come with training support from Care’s volunteer training team and STL’s premier dog trainers—Good Dog Training and Enrichment— who specialize in pups like Amity. In fact they know him very well as he’s already been going to school with them!

Amity has SO much love to give💕! If you are a person who doesn’t often have guests over and are looking for a soulful, loving pup to quietly fill your heart until it’s bursting with love, Amity is your boy❤️!
