Hi! I’m YUSTI, a 10-year-old 25lb female poodle terrier mix. The woman who found me as a stray named me Yusti because I reminded her of a beloved dog. The name comes from the origins of "justice," and in keeping with my name, I'm fair and gentle.
Although the vets say I’m a poodle mix, I am not hypoallergenic, but I've got a heart full of love to share.
I adore people, and I'm always ready to give out sweet kisses to anyone who wants them. I get along well with other doggie pals, so I'd fit right into your family if you have a dog. I was recently tested with cats and would be ok with them.
I’m gentle and sweet so I think I’d be a good fit for a first time dog family, people with kids or grandkids or a people with dog experience. I need to get used to living in your house to be fully trained and work a bit on my leash skills but I'm a quick learner! I know how to “sit” if you encourage me with a treat (which I love) so I know I can learn everything else you want me to. Don’t let my age of 10 deter you, I’ve got a lot of living still to do!
I'm also a lover of the outdoors – there's nothing better than soaking up the sunshine and the fresh air. I’ve never seen snow but I think I will be a fan.
