My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT NEED FOR A HOME!!!!!!  Crankshaft, is a 10-year-old neutered male staffie that came to the shelter as a stray and sat in a kennel for 100 days! He was a staff and volunteer favorite. And yet, no one wanted to adopt him!  We rescued him on September 22, 2023. Crankshaft is very friendly and sweet with people. He is great on a leash and can even walk with other dogs by his side or in the yard. . He was great with other dogs at the shelter in play groups.  He is great with female dogs, but does not like male dogs.  As such, he has to stay kenneled.  So we saved him from 100 days in a small kennel at the shelter to a large kennel with us.  HE NEEDS A HOME!  he is the sweetest dog!!!!!!!   We did not save him to put him back in a cage. He needs a home NOW!

We hope to start having open houses at our facility. Most of the dogs at our sanctuary will stay for the rest of their life, but we do adopt out the "younger" (under 10) and anyone who wants a specific dog we have.

More about this rescue

We love animals. We always sought out the sick, old dogs that no one would adopt from shelters. so now, as a 501c3, we can rescue more dogs. we can have 18 dogs at our sanctuary. To help more dogs, we started a foster program last year. Our goal is to save 50 dogs in 2021, we have saved 19 thus far and are planning on 3 more this week!
