My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Soft-spoken and sweet, Olive is a gentle soul who adores quiet moments and cozy cat beds. She may take a little time to get acquainted, but once she knows you’re a friend, she blossoms into a loving companion who enjoys soft pets and brushing by your legs!

Olive is also a proud polydactyl—meaning she has extra toes! Her big, mitten-like paws are as adorable as they are unique, and they only add to her quirky charm.

Olive is FeLV positive. FeLV+ cats live normal, happy lives, and while their lifespan is often shorter than that of the average cat, that doesn't diminish how wonderful their time in a home with you can be! Olive is ready to share that love with someone special. If you have questions about FeLV, we’re happy to chat—stop by or reach out by phone or email.

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
